Solus exists to give you a quiet space alone with God. We take that seriously, including how we treat what you share with us. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

Subscription & purchase status Granting access to premium features. Apple processes payments — we never see your card details.
Push notification token Sending the daily reminders you opt into. You can disable in iOS Settings any time.
Diagnostic & usage analytics Understanding which features are used and finding bugs. Aggregated and anonymized where possible.
Community posts & reactions (optional) Only when you explicitly tap "Share to Community." Posts are visible to other Solus users without your name unless you choose to include it.
Friend connections (optional) Only if you connect with a friend. We share what you've explicitly chosen to share.

What we never collect

We do not sell your data. We do not share your private journal entries with anyone. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models.

Solus is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact [email protected] and we will remove the account.

7. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days from our active systems and within 90 days from backups. Aggregated analytics may persist indefinitely in a form that can no longer be tied to you.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices: TLS in transit, encryption at rest via Supabase, scoped API keys, and server-side validation of all subscription receipts. No system is perfectly secure — we recommend using a strong, unique password.

9. International users

Your data is stored on servers in the United States. By using Solus, you consent to this transfer. If you are in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR including access, correction, deletion, and portability — exercise them by emailing [email protected].

10. Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the date above and notify you in-app or by email. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
